Nannies
We have an in depth process that allows us to find the best match
for both Teaching Nannies and families. All Teaching Nannies go
through an extensive process before we put their profile in our
database including an in person interview, thorough background
check, and reference checks. Each family also goes through an
extensive process including an in-depth application, consultation as
well as a background check.
We assist each Teaching Nanny in providing the best environment
for the children in their care. We first provide each nanny at
placement with a Teaching Nanny tote including nanny educational
materials, pamphlets and videos, a Nanny Journal, and educational
planning forms as well as a thorough list of resources to use. Every
month Teaching Nannies will receive a newsletter with information
about the field and many suggested educational activities by age
group as well as a section on sign language. Since we are also
educators in early childhood we are available by phone or email to
provide assistance on many topics from behavioral issues to
educational activities.
Qualifictions
We look at a combination of Experience in education/early childhood
where you have been a school age teacher, early childhood teacher,
a previous nanny or in a related position along with your education
in early childhood, education or a related field.
We also have ongoing training and materials to enhance a nannies
skills
